¹‘When anyone offers a grain offering to the Lᴏʀᴅ, his offering shall be of fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it, and put frankincense on it. ²He shall bring it to Aaron’s sons, the priests, one of whom shall take from it his handful of fine flour and oil with all the frankincense. And the priest shall burn it as a memorial on the altar, an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lᴏʀᴅ. ³The rest of the grain offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. It is most holy of the offerings to the Lᴏʀᴅ made by fire. ⁴‘And if you bring as an offering a grain offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil. ⁵But if your offering is a grain offering baked in a pan, it shall be of fine flour, unleavened, mixed with oil. ⁶You shall break it in pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. ⁷‘If your offering is a grain offering baked in a covered pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. ⁸You shall bring the grain offering that is made of these things to the Lᴏʀᴅ. And when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar. ⁹Then the priest shall take from the grain offering a memorial portion, and burn it on the altar. It is an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lᴏʀᴅ. ¹⁰And what is left of the grain offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. It is most holy of the offerings to the Lᴏʀᴅ made by fire. ¹¹‘No grain offering which you bring to the Lᴏʀᴅ shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering to the Lᴏʀᴅ made by fire. ¹²As for the offering of the firstfruits, you shall offer them to the Lᴏʀᴅ, but they shall not be burned on the altar for a sweet aroma. ¹³And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt. ¹⁴‘If you offer a grain offering of your firstfruits to the Lᴏʀᴅ, you shall offer for the grain offering of your firstfruits green heads of grain roasted on the fire, grain beaten from full heads. ¹⁵And you shall put oil on it, and lay frankincense on it. It is a grain offering. ¹⁶Then the priest shall burn the memorial portion: part of its beaten grain and part of its oil, with all the frankincense, as an offering made by fire to the Lᴏʀᴅ.

¹‘When his offering is a sacrifice of a peace offering, if he offers it of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lᴏʀᴅ. ²And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood all around on the altar. ³Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire to the Lᴏʀᴅ. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, ⁴the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; ⁵and Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is on the wood that is on the fire, as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lᴏʀᴅ. ⁶‘If his offering as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lᴏʀᴅ is of the flock, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish. ⁷If he offers a lamb as his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lᴏʀᴅ. ⁸And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. ⁹Then he shall offer from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lᴏʀᴅ, its fat and the whole fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone. And the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, ¹⁰the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; ¹¹and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to the Lᴏʀᴅ. ¹²‘And if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lᴏʀᴅ. ¹³He shall lay his hand on its head and kill it before the tabernacle of meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood all around on the altar. ¹⁴Then he shall offer from it his offering, as an offering made by fire to the Lᴏʀᴅ. The fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, ¹⁵the two kidneys and the fat that is on them by the flanks, and the fatty lobe attached to the liver above the kidneys, he shall remove; ¹⁶and the priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma; all the fat is the Lᴏʀᴅ’s. ¹⁷‘This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’ ”

¹After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: ²Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. ³Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. ⁴But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. ⁵Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?” They answered Him, “No.” ⁶And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. ⁷Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea. ⁸But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish. ⁹Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. ¹⁰Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” ¹¹Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. ¹²Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. ¹³Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. ¹⁴This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead. ¹⁵So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” ¹⁶He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” ¹⁷He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. ¹⁸Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” ¹⁹This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, “Follow Me.” ²⁰Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” ²¹Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man?” ²²Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.” ²³Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?” ²⁴This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true. ²⁵And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.

¹A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment. ²A fool has no delight in understanding, But in expressing his own heart. ³When the wicked comes, contempt comes also; And with dishonor comes reproach. ⁴The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook. ⁵It is not good to show partiality to the wicked, Or to overthrow the righteous in judgment. ⁶A fool’s lips enter into contention, And his mouth calls for blows. ⁷A fool’s mouth is his destruction, And his lips are the snare of his soul. ⁸The words of a talebearer are like tasty trifles, And they go down into the inmost body. ⁹He who is slothful in his work Is a brother to him who is a great destroyer. ¹⁰The name of the Lᴏʀᴅ is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. ¹¹The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own esteem. ¹²Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility. ¹³He who answers a matter before he hears it, It is folly and shame to him. ¹⁴The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit? ¹⁵The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. ¹⁶A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. ¹⁷The first one to plead his cause seems right, Until his neighbor comes and examines him. ¹⁸Casting lots causes contentions to cease, And keeps the mighty apart. ¹⁹A brother offended is harder to win than a strong city, And contentions are like the bars of a castle. ²⁰A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth, From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. ²¹Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. ²²He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lᴏʀᴅ. ²³The poor man uses entreaties, But the rich answers roughly. ²⁴A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

¹Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, ²To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ³We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, ⁴since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; ⁵because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, ⁶which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth; ⁷as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, ⁸who also declared to us your love in the Spirit. ⁹For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; ¹⁰that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; ¹¹strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; ¹²giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. ¹³He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, ¹⁴in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. ¹⁵He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. ¹⁶For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. ¹⁸And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. ¹⁹For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, ²⁰and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. ²¹And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled ²²in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— ²³if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister. ²⁴I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, ²⁵of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, ²⁶the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. ²⁷To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. ²⁸Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. ²⁹To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.
